Biography
Dr. Kyle joined the group in 2007 after he recieved his undergraduate degree in engineering from Harvey Mudd College. He earned his PhD and Masters degree in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics in 2011 and 2016, respectively, while developing a new process for Solid-State Superionic Stamping, a manufacturing process that allows low cost, nanoscale patterning of silver films. Today, Kyle is a post-doc in the group and his work includes machine and process design as well as materials processing and fabrication techniques. He is currently working on developing new fabrication processes using low-Tg superionic glass molds and substrates.
